Competition Teams

The competition teams are auditioned groups divided that are divided by age. These students usually attend classes 3 to 4 hours per week.

Our competition teams have won numerous Regional Overall Titles as well as National Champions. Our teams have performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Florida Citrus Bowl Half-Time Show, Walt Disney World, Carnival Cruise Lines, and the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in Washington DC.

Special Congratulations to our Superstars Team, Star Systems 2010 National Dance Champions.

Our teams just competed their award winning 2011 competition season. The teams received Overall Top Score Winners at regional competitions this season for Star Systems National Talent Competition, Legacy Dance Championships and Encore Competition.

Our teams also hold an annual benefit for the Jeff Gordon’s Children’s Hospital at CMC- Northeast. They also collect coloring books, crayons, and chapter books for the patients at the children’s hospital. Congratulations to our teams for raising $1336.00 at our 2012 benefit.

Let’s Dance Studio has raised $12,424.00 in the past six years for the children’s hospital.

Please complete the form below to join us for Summer Competition Team Technique Classes

Students will work on competition level jazz & tap technique in a 90 minute class. Participation in these classes or taking private lessons DOES NOT GUARANTEE position on the team for new dancers.
The cost for this 6 week session is $88.00.

The cost for the technique class session for the new team, ages 5-6, that meets for one hour per week is $79.00.

The class days/times are listed below. Classes begin on June 4.

If you are interested in participating on a competition team, then you are strongly encouraged to take these classes.

Competition Team Technique Class Ages 5-6 (new team) – Mrs. Lynn

This class will consist of 30 minutes of tap and 30 minutes of jazz. The class will meet Mondays June 4-July 9 from 6:30PM-7:30PM.

Team Technique Class Ages 6-8 (Tiny Stars) Mrs. Dana
This class will consist of 45 minutes of tap and 45 minutes of jazz. The class will meet Tuesdays June 5-July 10 from 7:00PM-8:30PM

Team Technique Class Ages 9-12 (Future Stars Team)- Mrs. Lynn

This class will consist of 45 minutes of jazz and 45 minutes of tap. This class will meet Tuesdays June 5-July 10 from 5:30PM-7:00PM.

Competition Team Technique Class Senior Teams - Mrs. Dana

Students will work on technique necessary for a competition team. This class will consist of 45 minutes of jazz and 45 minutes of tap. This class will meet Mondays June 4-July 9 from 7:45PM-9:15PM.

Release of Liability
As the legal parent or guardian, I release and hold harmless Let’s Dance Studio, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned, while in or upon the premises or any premises under the control and supervision of Let’s Dance Studio, its owners and operators or in route to or from any of said premises. The student is in good health and is fully able to participate in class.

Medical Emergency
The undersigned gives permission to Let’s Dance Studio, its owners and operators to seek medical treatment for the participant in the event they are not able to reach a parent or guardian. I hereby declare any physical/mental problems, restrictions, or condition and/or declare the participant to be in good physical and mental health. I request that our doctor/physician be called and that my child be transported to the hospital.

I give my permission for my child’s photograph to be used in any advertisement for the studio without any compensation.

The entire tuition is due regardless of sickness or holidays.
